Something I love about FDS is how ruthless we are about protecting our boundaries and not allowing low value behaviour. I'm seeking some advice or insight because I grew up a doormat, people pleaser and was forced to respect abusive family members and to "take the high road" every single time someone hurts me.

Jesus fuck. I'm SO tired of constantly having to bite my tongue and be strong. And on the chance where I do stand up for myself- I get gaslit and manipulated into thinking I'm being too negative or bitter or not understanding enough. The toxic positivity community also has a tendency to make us feel guilty for having natural emotions and I can't tell you how many times in the past I regret being nice because I ended up getting fucked over in the end.

I've recently been going fucking CHAOS and I wake up with anxiety and tears regarding this situation (not regarding a man but regarding a social media platform) and I've been speaking out about it for a few months now and every once in a while a troll will pop out and blatently walk all over my boundaries, humiliate me online and just shit on my work. I've been venting and exposing this behaviour because I've had my last fucking straw and cannot and willnot take abuse from anyone anymore...

but afterwards... I feel that guilt again with people gaslighting or making me seem like the bad guy for standing up for myself.

Any mindset tips please?
