I think that it's normal to desire a loving relationship. But ask yourself, do you make yourself happy? Do you have fun on your own?

I like to paint/draw, play video games, swim/run, volunteer, and hang out with my friends. When I go on a date with somebody and have a bad or boring time, I've learned that I do have more fun on my own than I do with that person. It's not just any man you want, but someone who adds to your life. And you can date actively to find that guy

It’s not about not wanting someone to walk beside you, it’s about knowing you’ll be good either way. Life moves in phases and there’s good times and bad times, we all feel alone sometimes. The difference is knowing that you’re grounded, you can take care of yourself, and you participate in activities that foster self-growth. There are so many people that literally cannot sit with themselves. Feeling empty is a part of the human condition. You’ll occasionally get that feeling regardless of your relationship status. Have you lost interest in things you used to enjoy doing? If yes then you might be depressed, in which case google therapists in your area and find a high value woman therapist. :)

If you aren’t full with yourself, you won’t be full with someone attached. Absolutely look into your own. Therapy helps.

Companionship doesn't have to include sex/men! You could try to find a close platonic friendship to share your life with (Boston marriage). Make sure you aren't touch starved (go to a masseuse, speak to friends about being more physically affectionate), and get a high quality sex toy.
