When I met the last two exes for the very first time (one real life, one OLD), I had that clear feeling of 'Nope, hard pass sis'. They didn't even have to say anything. But I ignored it both times and here I am now.

I don't trust my judgment of men anymore. The first guy, I was involved with for 2 years. We worked together and he was a serial cheater/emotional cheater with the clients. His behavior was appalling. Once I got away from him, I was single for three years.

I didn't give myself a chance to heal. I got an apartment with a roommate (an old high school friend) and I had to constantly fend off his advances. Why the hell do they think they can keep groping/fondling/talk disgustingly to women and completely ignore that woman clearly saying NO. STOP. Over and over. Believe it or not, this fine gent was a self admitted Nice Guy™ through and through.

Then, I met the second guy on a dating site. He gave off the nope vibe even stronger than the first guy, but I shut it up since I was lonely and he wasn't horrible looking. That was almost two years of hell. I wish I had trusted my own instincts.

Can anyone relate? YOU JUST KNEW, but did it anyway?
