It's possible. But a more pressing question at the moment is are you okay with guy's current availability? If it turned out he was single but just didn't feel like picking up the phone, would you accept this?

Maybe. I have had jack shit to do during quarantine so I’ve taken to going to bed at like 8:30 as a form of entertainment, so it might be that lol

Depends what you mean by "at night". Cos, like, he might be asleep. And I put my phone on silent when I'm sleeping and I bet a lot of people do.

i'm usually the first to sherlock holmes a situation (👀🔍) but there could be a lot of reasons that don't have to do with secretly being married or living a double life. could be that i'm giving the benefit of the doubt too, and he is--but after a certain time, one of my friends usually turns her notifications off and silences her phone so she can sleep better.

It sounds like it. He could possibly have reasons - my SO is a writer and he tends to have times he focuses on writing, but that came up early on. We both like to read so “I’m going to read for a few hours...that may turn to six hours...” is typical for us. But every evening after being available during work? Suspicious.
