I'm pretty desensitized to sexist stuff in most movies, so when something does get to me it must be really blatant. Danny Boyle's movie "Yesterday" was just that - the worst "romantic comedy" I've seen in a quite some time.

For those who haven't seen it (don't bother) it's about a loser dude who has literally nothing going on for him (irresponsible, childish, lives with his parents, can't hold a job, a mediocre musician, and a thief), and a pickme who does EVERYTHING for him while working full-time and looking like Lily James. Yet he treats her like dirt the whole movie until the very end when she's about to move on, which makes the loser protagonist jealous. So he publicly humiliates her in front of thousands of people as a "grand romantic gesture".

It feels like this movie was explicitly made to illustrate pickme and LVM behaviors. It's not even sugar-coated in any way. And it's a dull movie in every other aspect so I wonder why it got made in the first place (the premise is ok but it's never really explored).
