Is he playing games?

Okay, so my(18) boyfriend(19) usually replies late when we’re having a conversation. Like 2-6 hours late. It really irks me when he does that because he gives no explanation so I’m just left hanging. The other day I noticed he was only replying when it was convenient for himself or when he wanted something from me or had a question. I get he’s busy. But I find it kinda rude how he doesn’t put effort in his texts and just replies when he wants something. So I reciprocated him and replied late like he does because I’m not about to kiss ass. He’s not usually like that. So yesterday we had a good conversation and I liked his message to end it there because at that time he usually doesn’t answer my messages and it’s a pet peeve of mine when I’m left hanging. 40 minutes later he texts me saying ‘are you serious?I don’t know what’s wrong with you these days. if you don’t want to talk then say so’ I was so shocked. Like? He just proved all my gut feelings right. I feel like he purposely ignores me for an ego boost and uses me. I have no idea honestly. But I replied ‘what?’ And he didn’t reply even though he’s online. I’m so tired of these games he’s playing. Opinions?

(Forgot to include, I texted him yesterday, ‘thanks for not replying I really appreciate it’ because he always cuts our conversations short and never offers an explanation, and he just ignored my text and said ‘hey’ acting like nothing even happened. I just feel so fucking dumb.)
