I met my now boyfriend on Hinge and I never expected him to become my boyfriend from the minute we started talking. A few of my best friends also met their partners off apps like Tinder.

My advice is go on there with little to no expectations, be opening minded, and keep it 100% with yourself. Set boundaries for the type of relationship you want from the jump to weed out men who just want to “see where it goes”. Other than that, don’t use it as an end all be all type of thing because that’s not the point of these apps. The apps are a way bring people together that would not have been able to meet traditionally, which is how I feel with my bf.

The first thing I would do is try to find them on tinder and see if their profile looks different. The same guys are on all the apps and their tinder profile might say looking for hookups while their bumble profile shows something different, because they are just curating their profile based upon what they think will work best for each app.
