yeah, i hate this social media age. it does not help with my insecurities.
ideally he could look at whoever he wants and i'd be still confident that he chose me, but i get filled with panic and worry all the time. but also this is a result of a lack of affectionate or reassuring statements from him too.

Just so you know, that isn't okay nor is it standard. I know plenty of dudes who don't follow ig models at all. It isn't something you have to put up with. Especially doing it in front of you.

thank you. i don’t even know what goes on when i’m not there. i’ve caught him even commenting with hearts and stuff on females pics before and he says it’s just a friendly thing and that he’s a “grown man” and i shouldn’t be “monitoring his activity” on his phone.... he gets really mad and i get really sad.
if i know something bothers my partner, i would go out of my way to not do it. i just can’t expect the same from him anymore. and that’s fucked.
it’s something that i have tried to learn to tolerate and just hope he doesn’t cheat on me. but the whole wondering in silence if he’s being loyal really kills me.

no but we're talking about moving in together soon. that might make things even more messy.
yeah leaving is difficult but staying is comfortable and i'm not down for that pain at all right now. i just want things to be stable and loving and supportive and safe. :( i'll just keep hoping?

I'm sorry, but you're hoping for something that's not reality, and I think you know that. The reason you responded is because you feel UNcomfortable now. In the present. How is that discomfort different than the discomfort you'd feel by exercising your choice to leave?
You, and you alone, are empowered to care for yourself in the best way possible. That's not happening right now. Can you examine why this present discomfort (and trust me, it's going to get way worse) equates to love, in your eyes?
