I just uploaded my thesis and am officially finished my Ph.D.! I am the first Ph.D. in my entire family, the first person to get a post-grad degree of any kind on my mother's side. And in four months I start my new job in the field of my Ph.D. (outearning my previous and current partner by... a lot.). Queens gotta Queen. Doing it for my ancestors who were denied these opportunities and so much more.
