Never cut off your options until you’re in an exclusive relationship! No matter how much you like one person, force yourself to go out and meet new people. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Don’t get too emotionally invested in any man, especially if they haven’t even proven themselves to you.

Anyone have a way to bring up exclusivity to a man? It’s been about 6 months and we’ve developed this beautiful relationship, spend most of our down time together, etc. I’ve got some loose threads, and so does he. I like the way things are and don’t want the exclusivity conversation to break it up, but would like to trim those loose ends and make our relationship public.

well ain't this some advice I needed to be reminded of recently

I just got super excited about this hot guy I met that was super respectful, pulling out all the effort (good signs), only to find out he is a jobless fuckboy living at mommies. Soon as he twigged I liked him, the bs started coming...but its ok cos I alpha'd him & let him now I am no fool. But still...it was disappointing...I thought I was getting a lucky break after 3 years of forced singledom meeting idiots.

I would really like to stop blowing off guys right now and just find one that is tolerable to have sex with for a long period without infuriating me...

I could kick myself because a really attractive tall guy approached me a few weeks ago & because I was so full of flutters with this new guy I turned him down. That ain't usually my style with some1 so new but I was all swept up

Moids will perform mental gymnastics trying to shame women for keeping their options open and having standards. You will receive HATE MAIL and VITRIOL from men simply for indicating that you, also, are seeing others and will not be with any one man who does not meet your standards. Don't let them make you feel like shit for daring to stand up for yourself, for reinforcing your boundaries, asking for what you want, and leaving unapologetically if the relationship is lackluster, unfulfilling, and not what you were looking for. Believe me, they will try. They will try to make you feel like a cruel, heartless MONSTER for having standards.

Yep!!! This is great advice and how I approach dating. I've had a couple men balk and stop seeing me, but there was zero conversations about being exclusive. Until that occurs, I'm dating others.
