No does NOT mean try again later!

So I'm on two different OLD sites.

A few months ago I was talking to 2 guys and swapped social medias (pre-FDS, won't do that again). We spoke for about 1 week tops and I unfriended/unmatched because I was no longer interested.

Fast forward a few months and I'm on a new dating site. They have BOTH liked me - why? I clearly showed I was not interested by unfriending and unmatching them. Someone I rejected in person 6 years ago, who did not take it well, has also liked me. Do they not have any dignity or respect?

If a man rejected me once that would be it, his only chance, unless perhaps it was a few years later, he was more successful and mature and did the pursuing. But I certainly wouldn't show interest in someone that rejected me no matter how long ago it was. So why do men try their luck again even within a few months? No does not mean try again later!

My male friend told me I should be flattered but it is not flattering when I reject someone consistently and they think I'm just playing hard to get and if they keep pushing they'll get there. I've been rejecting a male acquaintance for 8 years and the harsher more brutual the rejection the more it seems to turn him on. I do not pussy foot around the conversation, I flat out reject him and he does not listen. He sees it as a challenge. I see it as blatant disrespect.

I've also spoken with guys for a few days and become uninterested so stop talking to them. Without fail they will ask if I'm ok as though there must be something wrong with ME for not talking to them rather than something wrong with THEM. As though because they've given me the bare minimum of conversation, they're entitled to my time and attention and if I decide I'm no longer interested then I'm an evil bitch.

Fellas, no does not mean try again later. No does not mean "playing hard to get". No does not mean if, buts or maybes. NO MEANS NO. Have some respect and dignity.
