These unhinged nutjobs will harass you for YEARS. They won't stop on their own and they won't get bored because intimidating you is FUN.

Make your break-up message firm and include the words "Do not contact me again or I will involve the authorities and get an order of protection" (or restraining order, whatever it is in your area). And then after one peep from their boundary-smashing asses do it.

They're cowards and stop quick smart at the threat, or when the police knock on their door.

This is so very common behavior for men. I really encourage to tell and publish stories like this. It's important for other women to learn that it's okay to leave and not accept this.

We pay dearly for "little mistakes" such as overlooking or justifying red flags. I feel like I MUST be alert at all times around men, all men, not just the ones I'd be in a relationship with, because for men, it is enough that they want you, don't give a shit about reciprocity. It's so unfair and draining and scary.

This post hits home. Same what happened to my ex-Narc, he made so many social media accounts, left nasty, shameful comments on my youtube videos.

I had to tell my parents everything. It wasn't pretty, but he was already talking to my parents, so I had to let them choose "Who will you believe, me or him"?

When I told my parents and my friends about the abuse that's when I stopped getting scared.

If I ever have a daughter, I will make sure that she knows there’s nothing she could tell me that would make me love her less. These situations are always made worse when the women feel like they have to hide things from their parents when the abuser starts the blackmail. I want my daughter to know that threats do not work, you can make mistakes and do things that disappoint me and still no one will ever be able to tell me and make me love you less.
