You don't owe anyone anything ever sis! Reads like a very clingy and insecure behaviour from what you said. We can't be expected to be on our phones 24/7, especially with an occupation like yours.

Set some boundaries and cut this behaviour while it's still early as it will get worse. Also, when someone shows you who they are, believe them! Actions speak louder than words!

Employ your big attorney pants and have a conversation with him, ONLY if you deem it necessary. I wouldn't invest if I had such red flags so early on.

Lastly, remember the JADE principle when dealing with people, applies extremely well to narcissists, egocentric or otherwise arrogant individuals. You don't Justify, Argue, Defend or Explain your life, positions, arguments, actions, values or anything else while engaging with them! Don't give them power or any hold over you!

Give him the cold facts, hard truth and the boot if necessary! You're your own person and don't need a keeper!

It doesn’t sound like you’re playing games. It sounds like you’re busy and he’s annoying...lol.

If you do happen to like him, just communicate that you’re busy during the day and won’t get back to him quickly. His inability to take a hint is a red flag.

You don’t owe him any reply; y’all are adults with busy lives, if he can’t accept that you aren’t attached to your phone 24/7 then he’s childish. We get so tired after work texting seems like another strenuous task, he wouldn’t guilt you about how many times he’s texted you if he really had something to do with himself
