What makes me laugh is when male “comedians” (or just plain misogynists) make sexist “jokes” and women go “hmmm that’s pretty sexist” and the men start crying about how they’re being silenced and canceled... like no, criticism and calling out sexism is not the same as canceling lmao

Isn't this the truth. I just listened to Bill Burr's recent bit on SNL where he shit on white women for taking over the conversations around the POC experience and making it about themselves. To be clear, as a POC I do hate when POC voices are silenced. That being said, I personally have not seen white women doing this so much as white men. Every discussion about promoting diversity (especially in the tech industry) is met with hordes of of white men pissed that they won't get what they deserve and it should "just be whoever is most qualified." As if women and POC would be underqualified? On a screenwriting sub there was a commenter talking about how white men are just turned away now and can't even get into the door. He has been in the business for 15 years and now he's being blocked and HOW UNFAIR to him. Like, it didn't even register that his straight white male status gave him privilege for those 15 years when no one called out the bullshit within the industry. And now he's the victim. My ethnic name and every other ethnic name probably would have been turned away for those 15 years for just that reason and he wouldn't have made a peep about the racism. Fucking amazing, men like this.

It’s really disturbing that there have been a lot of articles defending this by saying that work from home has blurred lines and employers shouldn’t reprimand private behavior. Okay, sure, masturbation is normal and healthy and I’m not of the opinion that you should be expected to work constantly all day while working from home, but that is completely separate from masturbating while YOU’RE ON A WORK CALL WITH YOUR COLLEAGUES WTF.
