Omg I feel for this poor woman.
She should divorce him, somehow undo the adoption (I’m not familiar with adoption laws/rules) and get out with her baby and never speak with him again. Be done.

She needs to take that baby, move in with a friend or relative and file for divorce immediately. consult a lawyer regarding the adoption, her rights to the house and alimony immediately.
What most likely will happen is that she stays and keeps doing all of the chores and childcare like before, while he bangs another woman and comes home to a home cooked meal from her afterwards.
EDIT: I assumed they were married. If not, her situation is so. much. worse.

You're right. I probably assumed it wrong because I just can't imagine why you would adopt a boyfriend's children. I don't even think that's legally possible where I am. And they are also building a house together while not being married?
I mean... is she now doubly screwed and on the hook for child support for two of his children, while getting no alimony or anything from him and having no right to the house they are building together because they are not married? That's outrageous.

He still wants to live together to avoid paying child support and to still have the bangmaid, house made and paying 50/50 "sister" while he's still looking to secure the next victim. Men always pull this stuff when they've trapped a woman with children. He'll probably want her to move out when he needs to play the good guy single divorced dad if he invites a woman in.

I highly suspect the guy managed to snag a woman he likes more which is why he is dumping OP. If he saw her as sister-like, he would not have sex with her in the first place (I assume he's not into incest). These feelings don't appear suddenly.

Five years with him and he drops this on her 4 months postpartum. That’s the shit I can’t get over. “Like a sister” bullshit, he’s really attempting to sugar coat the fact that he’s not attracted to her body anymore.
