I've had a couple great dates with a guy, 2 weekends in a row. He lives about an hour from me and has a suuuper elderly dog who could pass any day now, so he can't do much during the week.

We text daily, nothing over the top, just keeping interest in each other. We've also talked on the phone. They're seems to be mutual attraction and we always have a great time.

I last heard from him 2 dates ago, and it was pretty brief (our last date was Friday night). I was the last one to text him in the convo, so I don't plan on reaching out until he does.

So what's messing with my mind, is that this is the guy who told me after our first date that he wasn't sure if I had a good time - that it was "hard to tell". I told him that I did, and I was sorry if that wasnt clear, etc. I didn't start kissing his butt or anything either. I felt like maybe he was just a little insecure or nervous.

Buuut my question is... Do you think he still thinks I'm not interested? To go from daily enthusiastic texting to 2 days of nothing seems odd to me. Is there something I should do to express interest, like a quick text? He's given me no red flags, he seems to be a great guy. I just don't want him to think I'm not interested. AND I also don't want to be needy or insecure or irrational. Am I being silly? I think I need some perspective!
