I’ve seen a number of badass ladies here posting about how they leave texts on read.

I’ve turned off my read notifications so I don’t feel pressured to respond right away after reading it.

But now I’m rethinking my strategy.

Do you ladies have it on strategically so they know you’ve read it and chosen not to reply if they’re being lazy/flaky/rude?

EDIT: from the replies I realise I wasn’t super clear! I’m asking about the specific phone setting - generally is it better to have read receipts ON or OFF?
