Following on from a post by u/warinmymind94 I just wanted to share a little story with you all:

The other day I was driving through the city to visit my parents, there was quite a bit of traffic at one point, no biggie. We’re stopped in a queue on a road with shops and a college. Two girls (I can’t be sure of the age) walk up beside a work van infront of me, looking for a safe place to cross. One of the girls looks suddenly at whoever’s in the van, pauses for a second and then pulls a really disgusted face and puts her middle finger up at him. It enraged me. He was in his work van, and it has the company number on the back, he made it so easy… I immediately called the company, they put me through to a a manager and I gave the description of the event along with his location and number plate. They said they were really sorry and really disgusted that it had happened and that they would take action.

Who knows if they did anything for certain but the more we as woman report these things and stand up for ourselves and others the more change we might make.
