I have been texting with a guy that I matched with on Bumble for about two weeks and we have a date scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Shortly after we started talking, I asked him if he was talking with or casually dating anyone and he said no.

Tonight I logged into Bumble to look at his profile again and I saw that he had added a new picture to his profile - a selfie that he had taken and sent to me this past Wednesday.

I feel deflated. Rationally, I know that we haven’t met and he has every right to continue to use Bumble. On the other hand, I feel as though he is likely matching with and talking to other women even though he told me he wasn’t. (Editing to add: I’m not upset that he’s talking to others, I’m bothered that he wasn’t honest about it.)

I was really looking forward to meeting him because I felt like it had potential, but now I’m unsure about whether or not it’s worth my time.

Am I overreacting or is this a red flag? I’d really appreciate your thoughts!
