Blahhhh

Ok, so it's been over a month dating this guy, but long story short, he's been amazing in every single way and I haven't detected any red flags. He's taken me on very extravagant and thoughtful dates, always insists on paying for everything, buys me thoughtful gifts, literally came over to mount my TV last night, always picks me up and drops me off on our dates, texts me constantly every day, is super positive and upbeat, really friendly and he obviously wants a relationship with me. He even asked if I would come to a wedding with him in OCTOBER. My birthday is next week and he wants to surprise me and told me to wear something nice and be ready at 7pm. It's not love bombing, the pace has been very comfortable and he hasn't said anything that would lead me to believe he's trying to butter me up. I can usually spot narcissistic behaviour at this stage in my life, he's the opposite of that.

Girls... here's the issue - he's too nice? Like to the point where I think he may not have any self respect. He just never vouches for himself or speaks up for what he wants, he's always so sensitive to me and how I'm feeling. But not in a good way, in a way where it feels like I will lose respect for him real quick and I already know that's a recipe for a bad relationship. I'm trying to give him a bit more time to really feel out if maybe he can stand up for himself, because I am attracted to him and he has so many amazing qualities. But I can already feel myself getting mildly annoyed with him and if I have no respect for someone, I'll have no drive for them sexually.

What do you you girls think? Should I dump or should I give it more time? I've been strict FDS with him so far, no sex and he's paid for everything.
