It was just dawn on me today as I was ranting to my friend (cue: a pick-me)

When suddenly I got a text from one of LVM that I’ve been in a situationship with in the past. Obviously, the guy did not add any values but rather feed my anxiety with his love bombing and I found out that he’s still active in OLD when we agreed on being exclusive. Even in my pickme days I give him zero tolerance because not only he did all that, he just used me as he was never take me out to a proper date and prefer to spend time in my place. So I blocked him immediately (never done this before) it was that bad.

I told my pickme friend that this guy contacting me again after 10 months and I have no intention to reply. And guess what she said...

“If you do that, he will think that you’re butthurt. Just reply him with an OK, so he’ll understand that you’re not interested,”

To which I reply “Like hell I’m being polite to him. He’s not even worth my finger muscle energy,”

And she said “Suit yourself,”

— Reading my pick me friend response (of course I ignored her), it occurs to me that what the Handbook mention to blocked and gave no reaction/response to any of LVMs advance is right! I knew that because she used to be “polite” and she’s still getting messages from her past “exclusive” guy who text her with sexual innuendos.

Being polite with scrotes won’t help and certainly won’t get you anywhere. It’s just giving them a validated boost that you still want to be with him.
