I think we have to remember: 1.) If a man is EVER ABLE to be a true partner to a woman, he will completely chase that woman (like that story of Steven Colbert who flew home to South Carolina to break the news to his mom that he'll never get married to his long term girlfriend and therefore never give his mom grandchildren... and then promptly laid eyes on his now-wife at a random town party and decided that he was going to marry that woman whose name he didn't know)... but we have to also realize that many men will...

2.) NEVER BE ABLE to be a true partner. Therefore, don't feel bad that some men will always be a 50/50 sort of man. Don't stay with him and think that he'll change. Don't stay with him and lament that the chick after you will get the perfect version of him. You never know. You never effing know. Could be. But all you know is that he isn't now. Just know that he's a 50/50 sorta man at this moment. Which makes him essentially a roommate that you're obligated to sleep with LOL.
