Why should you give him the chance to 1 - make you the bad guy, and 2 - try to defend his actions? He's not entitled to your reasoning. And it's not your job to turn this into a "learning opportunity" for him. Don't tell him.

Don't say that you spied him, just say "I know that you did this and that, you are not good at lying" and block him everywhere.

I'm not against throwing a jab at LVM sensitive ego. They dislike getting caught, just like they dislike being belittled. So I suggest one rude sentence max and no more communication after that. No "proper closure" or "proper break up" needed. He doesn't deserve it.

Now I know he's cheating and begin to plan to exit the relationship immediately. Begin to distance yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally. Begin bragging yourself. Practice moving out drills in your head so you won't forget anything or have to come back for your shit. Once you feel really ready and prepared to leave, that's when you just pack all of your shit and then block him on everything.

DON'T give up your surveillance tactics. Only confront him with the evidence IF you're trying to interrogate him to get more information AND he's not giving it up. Otherwise just tell him he sucks, and break up.
