Every time men answer the question “my love language is” on Hinge, their answer is ALWAYS “physical touch.” GROSS! I always cringe when I see that answer because to me, that means that all they want is sex.
I would love to meet a man that puts his words into action but unfortunately, that has never happened.

YUP. I have an ex who claimed that was his love language. Except, the only times he would touch me would be in sexual situations or he’d grab my ass or pinch my nipples randomly. When it came time to cuddle and hug and hold hands he wasn’t usually about it. Ugh.

Haha this is so true. The whole love languages theory is wasted on men.
On the topic of the post - it really is a huge shock and surprise to meet someone who actually does what he says he'll do and shows up when he says he'll show up.

Yes, they’re not talking about the love languages theory...to them physical touch=sex. And they also have other indicators on their profile that makes it obvious that they’re creeps.
I agree, it’s so hard to find a consistent man that follows through with his word. I refuse to settle for a mediocre man, if his actions don’t match his words then just throw the whole man away.

I looked at the different types of love languages and I feel like it’s all the things a relationship should be about. Words of affirmation, physical touch, gifts, quality time, acts of service. You’re telling me I have to choose one???
