Sadly children do not know this. We had some students (14- 15 years old) tape a girl on the staircase having sex, they then spread the video around the school. Guess who is going to juvenile detention? I made an announcement to my class how doing this will get you in trouble. Girls then pulled me aside telling me boys were making them send photos, and they wanted them back. I feel for young girls.... In urban communities they aren't taught their bodies are important, and so they often send nudes to young boys thinking they are mature enough to keep it between them. We've even had girls on snapchat twerking nude. Goodness it's wild.

Never understood how nudes are so normalised. I have never once sent a nude, nor have I been asked for one. I haven’t even received one aside from the occasional random dm from someone across the globe. It shouldn’t be normal!! The consequences are not worth it!

I wish I was that aware when I was 14. I know a lot of us shit on the tiktok generation, but honestly a lot of today's teenagers are making me feel optimistic about the future
