Girl... If you just would have dropped the guy after the first meeting, you could have gotten yourself out for a burrito. I don't know you but I can promise you - if you had just taken yourself out, you would have taken yourself to a nice ass restaurant, had a fine fine burrito and would have even dropped a drink in there too, all without the hassle of trying to push his grabby claws away from your body while trying to get touchy in a park.

Love the mentality of dropping him after detecting that this does not work for you - but there is room for improvement on the reflex of yo blocking-finger

Very first red flag is how you had to tell him to take you out. If he was interested in anything beyond a hookup, you’d know. You wouldn’t have to instruct him.

I’m really, very glad you blocked him... but I can see so many glaring red flags:

Hounding = boundary stomper
Going out for ice cream with a boundary stomper = that’s all he had to do after 4 years of being a pest?
Continuing to talk to a guy who you know only wanted a hook up = why?
Asking him to please plan something = ?
Talking to him after he said he has nothing for you to at 8pm = ?
Going to the park with the guy who is committing all the above crimes ^ = ???
Not blocking after the park fiasco = ?

You’ve definitely got some of the principles down, but please, re-read the handbook. Don’t date again until you have it downpat, because life gave you 7-8 opportunities to abort mission here but you still kept your neck in the game.
