Sis, don’t lower your standards just because the majority of men are low effort. Is Hinge popular in your area? When I used Hinge, about 60% of people who “liked” me sent a message. Some messages were ridiculous or boring, but maybe 1 out of 5 messages were thoughtful enough to have a convo with (that makes roughly 1 out of 10 who ever sent a like. Putting the attractiveness of their profile into account, I would match with 1 out of 20 who liked me). Yes sometimes I wouldn’t match with anyone new for days, but at least I didn’t have to deal with nasty scrotes. I broke the rule a few times by matching with someone who just sent a like because their profile looked really attractive, but it was never once worth it. They 100% turned out to be low effort.

It doesn’t even take that much effort to comment something interesting. All it takes is a few seconds to read your profile. Don’t match with guys who don’t send a thoughtful message, because you will be disappointed. If they didn’t have anything interesting to say before you matched with them, they likely won’t have anything interesting to say after you match.

But since you said almost ALL men on Hinge in your area are low effort, maybe it’s just not the best app to use. Have you used tinder? From what I’ve seen every guy on hinge is also on tinder, and it’s easier to vet on tinder because at least scrotes who are looking for casual sex don’t pretend like they’re not.

No, I’m perfectly comfortable with how I responded. I’m not creating any false victimhood, and I really find it strange that you’re damning my reactions to this entire exchange based on you misunderstanding my use of the word “women” in that phrase. I never said anything that misrepresented my experiences on this sub; while I absolutely think the support and information and exchanges can be invaluable and I have learned some immensely important things through it, this isn’t an isolated incident, I’m not the only woman who has been spoken to like this, and I think my reaction to feeling insulted was warranted. You still aren’t directly involved, just decided cherry pick this phrase. Why are you so insulted?

Lol I’m posting an exchange that many others post here for entertainment purposes. It’s not that serious.
