It's being firm with your NO to disrespect, you don't grovel, don't give second, third, fifth chances, don't play it down or ignore it. If you get disrescpected, you leave them then and there, first time is the last time. Don't even start endless fights and waste your time and energy. Just block, leave, never look back. Potential is not reality and your relationships happen in real world, so treat them as such. Don't cling too hard on people who let go of themselves already. Especially if they never really cared about you.
