What's a reasonable time frame for a second date invite?

I'm used to men inviting me on a second date either the day of the first date or the day after. I think how quickly he asks you out again is a sign of his interest in you and/or his ability to make time to date (if he's very busy). If it took more than 2-3 days I probably wouldn't even consider it.

In 99.9% of cases, if he is actually interested in you he will ask you during the date, the same night, or the next day. Guys who wait a while typically aren't interested. I wouldn't necessarily block the guy but I would not contact him afterward other than to say a thank you for the date, no matter how well the date went. I'm not about to pursue a guy.

It’s usually within 24 hours of the first. Anything longer, he ain’t interested.

I've found that guys that are interested will ask by the end of the first date. However this also isn't a guarantee; they will text to confirm that night or next day.

Usually a second date has been planned during the first date or I’ve been given an estimate time to hear back but even then plans are considered before time is confirmed.

Idk if I would expect a second date if the aforementioned didn’t happen. I want to say if they contact you the next day after the first meeting that should be alright, but at the same time I don’t know why an interested man would have you walking away without knowing he wants to see you again (and asap).

I’d move him to the back burner. Blocking is used when I feel like they disrespect me or I am sure they are someone I don’t want to be with.

Definitely within like three days, but the sooner the better.

Let’s say we go out Friday night. If he doesn’t ask me out again my Monday or Tuesday morning latest, I’ll already have my Friday and Saturday nights booked with my girlfriends.

And I feel like waiting for over a week for a second date is way too long, I would forget about him by then.

From my experiences, if a guy didn’t ask me out again either right away or within two days, he wasn’t interested and there was never going to be a second date. If a guy I’ve previously been out with hits me up like 2+ weeks after our first date, I just ignore it.

What if first date was just before the holidays? Is it reasonable to wait until things have gone back to normal?
