I’d cook, clean and iron for a guy who texted me ‘what’s up’ every two weeks. Lol I don’t know what was in my mind to do that for a casual hookup. Extreme men pleasing taught to me by society and my mother, I guess.

Then, first thing I did for my long-term NVM ex is to clean his entire flat (it was extremely dirty 🚩🚩🚩) WITH MY MOM. And continue to clean, cook and perform for him at the cost of my sanity and mental health.

Never again. I haven’t done anything like that for several years now and it feels so good to feel free and strong instead of being a mommy bangmaid who they don’t appreciate and respect anyways.

Men don’t love you and appreciate you for doing all this extra stuff, save yourself the effort and put it into your career and education instead.

Turn all that loving and caring energy to yourself! I have a friend who constantly OLDs men, giving them expensive gifts for their birthdays and sex but recieves nothing in return, some even breakup with her on dates she has given them £200 gifrs. I wish she turned all that love to herself instead

Also can we talk about how the “xyz he never had” sob story is false? The reality is that he has had it many times and will steal it many more by lying to women about how hard things have been for him. At a certain point in life, a man has had many chances to have a loving relationship because of the brainwashing from the culture that the post discusses. The man has either discarded these loving relationship opportunities or he has twisted the truth for maximum manipulative impact. I no longer believe what men say about their exes.
