That sub isn't that bad.

You can tell some of the mods want to control what gets said there. But as you can see, most men understand these problems. There are just too many guys out there saying the same things for them censor it all.

This is a point I've made before about guys and society in general... Men's rights, the concept and issues, aren't unpopular. The term itself is. For whatever reason, average Joes and Janes will almost always agree with fixing these problems. I think what it comes down to is most people don't want to see "another feminism", because women's feminism has already created a terrible reputation for "people who want gender equality". And men's rights immediately brings up an image of the women's movement and feminism which most people understand has "gone too far" or otherwise been abused by female supremacists.

Too many comments to read them all, but what I see at first glance is that feminism isn't blamed there. Quite the opposite:

Overall mental health resources and support. Patriarchy left women as fragile creatures to be cared for and left in the kitchen. And men as strong, stoic supporters of the household with no weakness or fragility. We got women out of the kitchen and gave them a place in society, but men were never relieved of the burden of never being able to show vulnerability without being stigmatized

I think that's the difference. MRAs (rightfully) blame feminism. And feminism shall not be blamed.

I actually had a discussion with a person who couldn't fathom that men have issues. I asked if she ever pays attention to the front page of reddit because nearly every couple of weeks a post makes the front page where men discuss issues and one of them happens to be sexual assault.

I almost lost my mind when she tried to say women suffer under the patriarchy more then men in a very sarcastic way. So I asked if "death" isn't as bad as being told to stay in the kitchen and having to wait 100 more years to vote then men and then posted how many people died during the cival war, both world wars and vietnam and many of those who did die had no choice because of the draft.

Of course the the entire thing was how women shouldn't be blamed for anything because they were forced to do or say things under the patriarchy, yet somehow that didn't absolve all men when only the top 1% of men benefit from the patriarchy. Its crazy that the same percentage of women benefited from the patriarchy as men did but somehow its all men and zero women who should hold responsibility to the system that was in place.
