Just because a group that is ideologically opposed to yours agrees with you on some points, but not all, doesn't mean you should walk back from that position.

Let's say Hitler was still alive and tweeted "pedophilia is bad". I'm not going to stop being against it just because someone who also killed millions of Jews is against it. No reasonable person is going to associate me with Nazis because I hate something Nazis also happened to hate. And if they are unreasonable, then anything they say is self-refuting anyway.

EDIT: I also don't even think these are "right wing terms"...I mean, a lot of people leading the charge of anti-SJWism on Youtube and such were moderate liberals.

My major gripe with the left is the fact that i cannot stand the insular Neoliberal Leftist Academic Elite. They're not from working class, they speak an alien language only they can understand and they talk down to the lay people. They are as far from a "common man" as they can get. What shall we call this problematic group of self-absorbed people? these "SJW/Woke" elites that sit atop of ivory towers of privilege, passing moral judgments and imposing new social norms on humanity as if they're Emperors..

Feminism basically is Oppression Olympics though. it doesn't matter how bad a black man in Nigeria has it, a white woman in USA has it 10 times worse because patrauchy.

Labels are best avoided, although sometimes it's hard to avoid them completely, just like generalizations.

If you're talking to someone who isn't already in your echo chamber, keeping things as personal, concrete, human-sized and non-ideological as possible is the best way of connecting to them. I guess you could also attempt at phrasing your concerns in their language (for example, certain people might be more receptive to your argument when you are talking about "the intersectionality of male issues"... because they like the intersectionality buzzword), but at a risk of feeling forced or dishonest.

Woke is one of those terms that is like SJW or PC. It originated in that community itself as a self-applied label which was either positive or slightly self-deprecating. Then it migrated to the mainstream as a term for people to make fun of people who hold, according to the speaker using it, excessive or performative "left-wing" or "progressive" views. Then right-wing pundits discovered the term and started beating it to death to apply it to anything that die-hard conservatives don't like. So these are very subjective terms that depend on the sensibilities of the speaker. Just like "alt-right" or "incel", which are applied to anything from actual white nationalists, paleocons and Elliot Rodger worshipers, to anything that woke Twitter dislikes.

I can't imagine every using those terms in any serious context. Except "SJW" but only in a friendly manner, which contextually, still not serious.
