When I was a kid, i was like this all the time. And didnt get why ppl got angry, when you point out the obvious. People dont like it when you tell them the truth to their face, nor accept it. Specially the emotional ones.

It really is a blessing to be able to recognise when ppl go offroad so you know when you’ve gotten your point across. Saves so much energy and time :)

Well outside of work talking politics and Philosophy is an effective way of weeding out toxic people from your life. With families it’s more complicated... but there’s Stefan Molyneux for that. That being said I live in a conservative state, so people here will at least hear you out and won’t personally attack you in my experience. Then again I’m also 6’2 and imposing so it would be a mistake for most to square up to me.

Its the humane argument, having a “heart”. Theres basically two parts of life to make it complete. Emotions and logic.
