Honestly, looking at it strictly objectively, he's already 'won', the kids are with him, she's a pariah. Get a lawyer and get it done and strike while the iron's hot. I know some have the 'raising another man's kid' attitude and is absolutely correct when talking about the unborn baby, but after 15 years of raising her, things just aren't that cut and dry. Don't focus on the ex, she is history, focus on protecting the years ahead of his own life, with his kids.

Remember that it's feminists who've pushed the narrative that a Dad is only a squirt of man-juice and consequently the guy can be flushed from the family with no ill effects (well, provided they can still farm him for money, of course.) We of the MRM should push back on that.

The view of feminists is, as usual, (vindictive) horseshit. Being a Dad is a lifetime of caring for another person. Giving them support, advice, shelter, second chances... As you can tell, I was darned lucky with my Dad. You still have all of that to offer your daughter.

There's another sub on here, r/peptalkswithpops where guys offer "Dadvice" to kids (mostly sons it seems) who don't have a Dad in their life for one reason or another. They're (obviously) genetically unrelated, but it's still a good, helpful, positive thing. Maybe reading some of that sub would help you feel better? There's more to being a Dad than genetics.

As for your ex, who lied to you: well that's a deep hurt, and you can't expect that you should be able to easily deal with it. Again, the notion that men shouldn't or don't have deep feelings is feminist horseshit. Of course you're gonna be angry. Of course you're gonna have revenge fantasies. Fantasies are normal and fine. Don't beat yourself up over having them; it's normal. You've got enough of a burden in your life without piling guilt on yourself, too.

But what you're doing now is damage control. You're obviously a good, decent, caring guy. Your kids will have a better chance at good, happy lives with you there, being the best Dad you can be, rather than, say, in jail.

Don't think of it as letting your ex "get away with it." You're not concerned with her any more. Waste as little time on her as possible.
