Heh. Technically I get it. Because of the way this is framed. To drop the percentage of male suicides, the percentage of female suicides has to go up. So snowflakes will interpret this as "how can we drive more women to suicide"...

"What can we do to prevent male suicide" should have been at the end instead. No one can argue with that goal (and not fall off their moral high horse at least).

Me and most of the men I know have been suicidal for one reason or another. Many of them succumb to alcoholism, myself included. I feel lucky to have found a solution and am managing it pretty well.

It's hard to feel like you belong in this world when everyone tells you that you're the scum of the earth for being male. When your community is controlled entirely by the whims of women. When having male space is disallowed and frowned upon.

When your value is often estimated by your ability to find a mate. When you can't have feelings because they will tell others how you are manipulated. When having an interest in chemistry and explosives at a young age makes everyone nervous and avoid you.

It's amazing that some of us are still alive. I'll take a moment to be grateful for that.

must have had the community notice the take down, a very similar post is now #1 with over 70k upvotes. i was about to comment but i'm not even about to. the second i post in r/videos now i am attacked endlessly for posting here.

what i wanted to say was this; so many of the comments are saying men need compliments and softness and the ability to show they are weak. what i don't see anyone talking about in the comments is that this is what turns women off. i am not sure what we as a society can't just address this issue. you show weakness to a woman, it turns her off like no other. tears, emotions, they don't give a fuck about that. they want a tall, strong, violent protector that can protect her kids and achieve a social standing to protect her and provide shelter for her.

i honestly think its fine that society puts men into this position. its fine society expects us to be the hero, the resulting problem is that then we are NOT treated like heros, we are treated like rapists and pedos and told women are the future. you want men to go to war, to be the ones to repress our humanity to be the shield that protects the fabric of society, then yeah, suck our dicks and shut the fuck up.

...now they want both. to be in power, have us still dote on them, earn the degrees and have the CEO jobs and then expect men to still strong.
