A core tenet of FDS is to be as dishonest as possible. Always hide your true intentions; there is always some way to justify lying that serves the greater cause. Just recently, there was a highly-visible post on FDS telling single mothers not to mention that they have any children on their dating profiles. Their justification for this systematic form of lying was to "inform" women that child predators troll these dating sites looking for single mothers so they can gain access to their children for nefarious purposes. In reality, this is yet another thinly-veiled excuse to lie on their profiles so they look like a more attractive dating prospect than they actually are. The good ol' bait-and-switch.

Somehow, women have been gaslit into thinking it's somehow "dishonest" or "wasting men's time" to not disclose that up front. Well, boo fucking hoo, because PROTECTING CHILDREN WILL ALWAYS BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN MAKING A MAN'S DICK HAPPY. By not disclosing that up front, or not disclosing until after you've met him in person, you will automatically be eliminating (most) pedophiles from your dating pool.

So basically, through a considerable amount of fear-mongering and mental gymnastics, they have managed to spin lying about one of the biggest deal breakers when it comes to dating into some sort of noble cause to protect the children. Their M.O. is to drop this nuclear bomb on the unwitting victim only after they agree to be taken out on a date, on the man's dime of course. The more aptly named FreeDinnerStrategy comes to mind.

Unfortunately, very few of these women understand the implications of lying as accountability seems to be a foreign concept to them. That is, unless it's a man lying. A cursory glance at FDS will show you that they do NOT take well to men lying. To FDS, dishonesty in a man is indicative of him being a LVM (low-value man). Countless rants about men lying on dating profiles about height, or weight, or all types of shallow criterion litter their posts about what constitutes a LVM.

So what does this mean for women? Does lying on her dating profile, especially about something as consequential as having children, make her a LVW? According to FDS, of course it doesn't! Whenever a woman lies, there is always a justifiable reason. If you as a man don't think the reason is justifiable, then you're just a LVM who should be tossed to the side (after paying for dinner of course, because that's when all of this comes out).

This toxic course of thought is repeated an innumerable amount of times until a HVM (high-value man; someone who is ok with being lied to before a relationship even starts) comes along and swoops her (and all her kids) up off their feet. The problem with this, however, is that a man who is ok with being lied to and manipulated is probably a man who will be ok with lying and manipulating. Whether the woman finds this out sooner or later, she is back to square one. Back to complaining about how all men are liars and manipulators and LVM's, and she just can't seem to keep the toxic men away!

Author's note: Although there is a chance of encountering child predators on dating sites (and one must remain vigilant), the chances of that happening are astronomically low. In other words, the chances of the date trying to abuse the woman's child are almost as low as the chances of the man staying with her after finding out the type of person she really is.
