It's my understanding that before the Federal Reserve was established the working people would donate to places providing services like libraries and hospitals. Government intervention meant eventually people would just stop because the government has it covered. The answer to the question you're asking me is much too long winded to answer in the span of one reply here. It is a complicated issue. I will say that I fully believe that all people should have the right to do with their money what they want. They earned it. If people didn't have a portion of this money taken by the government I think they'd be more willing to put money to a good cause. There are many people now who donate to causes they believe are good even with being taxed at any rate. I think in a world without taxes we'd see a lot more behavior like this.

Unpopular only because 1) it makes sense, and 2) It ultimately "hurts" wahmen. But, it is 100% true.

"Taxation without representation is theft."

Voting is a great power. Women carry no responsibility for that power, as they are not net tax payers (men overwhelmingly pay the taxes while women overwhelmingly receive the benefits). In addition, there are more women than men alive, as men die more often at work, in the army, don't live as long, etc., thus men don't have true representation either. The result is that the women are the ruling class while men are literally the slaves.

The fairest system would be that only net tax payers OR those who serve in the army for at least a certain number of years should be allowed to vote. Net tax payers pay with their wallets and their hard labor to earn that money, while those who serve in the military literally pay with their blood. However, good luck trying to get that system implemented right now, because this will result in mostly women losing their rights, and they're not gonna let that happen. That's why the system is slowly collapsing.
