Even from a MGTOW perspective, I used to think guys were pathetic for “weebing” over anime girls but now I understand where they’re coming from. The anime girls are basically the depiction of the perfect woman, which is after all, a pure fantasy. The fact that the perfect woman is a fantasy, goes to show how fucked up women are in reality. I personally just pump and dump hookers to satisfy my dick, but I respect these guys with their “waifus” (anime girls are fucking hot, I’ll admit that) and will never judge them again as that’s what MGTOW is all about :)

The terrible part of waifus is that it’s all projection, it’s a theoretical form. It turns male desire of feminity into a character who can express them. But this is because men think women love men the same way we love women. Men are idealists, women are opportunists. A man will wrote poems, kill his fellow man, cross oceans and mountains, and go decades alone if it means being with his woman through the end. A woman would abandon her man as soon as she had a better option. 2D all the way. As others have pointed out anime girls aren't real and they don't actually exist. They are an idealized version of women, they are women as men dream and imagine women to be. They are the version of women that men created to satisfy the desires, wants, needs and wishes that men have. They are the kind of women every single man would pick if it were an option. Anime girls are what men want. They all have quirky, weird flaws, because men don't want perfect women. They are all physically weak and unable to defend themselves because men like protecting women.

Men have emotional needs that women are incapable of filling but that men desperately have a need to fill. Anime girls are an expression of this need; that's why so many guys are head over heels with the fantasy. It calls to a hole in the lives of men, a need that men desperately have the need for, but for which there is no way to fill in the real world. Its so glaring that women can extort massive sums of money from men just by pretending to fill the need.
