That's fascinating insight into how people think.

1) she says "WE have everything I want so why cant HE just be happy?" She cant conceptualize that someone else may have wants or needs outside of her wants and needs.

2) she listed almost exclusively superficial things like nice house, nice neighborhood, good job. Shes confused as to how you can have a life full of superficial luxuries and still be unhappy. The desire to have a connection and an intimate personal relationship isnt even a thing in her head.

3) she didnt list anything he has to himself, she listed things they have. It's all our house, our kid, our friends. Theres nothing about how he has his car/motorcycle, or his friends, or his hobbies.

I dont think shes a bad or malicious person. Shes just so unbelieveably shallow and self absorbed that she genuinely can't understand basic empathy.

She's definitely cheating on him....Women don't just all of a sudden stop wanting sex. If anything during pregnancy and after women are the horniest. If she stops wanting sex it's just from him, not from men period. She's definitely getting it from somewhere else. She lacks critical thinking skills to understand sex isn't just for his physical pleasure. The wife rejecting sex from him is going to make him feel like she's not even attracted to him and then it begs the question, why would he continue to stay with her? Being married is like becoming business partners with your significant other and it turns to a mere friendship. Marriage is pointless.

I always say women dont enjoy sex they are drug dealers. They get you hooked on dopamine for cheap aka 4-5 times a week and then when they have you under contract of marriage they cut it off. Women can go years without sex its not a biological need for them.

When women say “it’s just sex” it’s because they seriously don’t understand that the sexual market place is competitive for men. Women (even ugly ones) have sex on tap. If you mention that to them though it’s always “oh but not with “good guys”” no. You simply have a paradox of choice. Pretty much every available man is willing to put his willy inside you. And with all that choice comes pickiness. And also with so many choices no matter what you choose you’ll never be completely satisfied because you had all those OTHER choices which by the way don’t ever really go away. And yeah when you’re in a long term loving committed relationship and you cut out sex you can’t just be like “oh but what about all these other things. Sex isn’t everything!” No it’s not. While I still believe in AWALT, this particular thing is absolutely a Western white woman thing. No other race or even region of women is like this. Other women like sex. American women especially hate it. Go to Eastern Europe and you won't find men complaining their wives hate sex. Every other race of women likes sex and likes having lots of kids.

There is something fucking wrong with American women beyond any sense. I don't know whether it's the water or the TV or something else, but it's just unnatural and weird. Although the gilded gal does have a point that sex can be good within a marriage to keep it stronger and last longer. Its not necessarily true that the poster is wrong. She says that life is more than sex, and so are relationships. You dont need sex to keep a relationship healthy. Qualities like dependability, trust-worthyness, loyality, and the ability to workout problems between lovers go even further than sex. This is what will keep a couple together long after both their sex drives have diminished. I think what is lacking in their marriage is communication. If the wife does not want sex and the husband does. Maybe its time that they talk and find a way for them to make it right for both of them.
