I posted this after one of them went generic on me:
Fortunately for us we don't suffer from loneliness as much as women do. I'm not unsatisfied with my life, I'm unsatisfied with women and all the supposed fish in the sea that aren't going to enhance my life in any way other than to cure maybe some slight loneliness. And I am bitter. Because if you guys were decent human beings (most of you are not) then I might be able to confidently try again.
How many stories do I have to hear about the second a woman gets married she does a 180, gets lazy and turns into a whale, doesn't work on herself and ends up turning into this nagging bitch. I'm scared to ever get married. I don't trust any of you.

That’s a lazy attempt to deflect from the question and women are masters at it.
[–]cob_25814 points15 points16 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly, she's trying to deflect the question not answer it, as if OP was saying "Russian roulette is screwed up" and she replies "nah, the ones doing it agreed on the rules"
[–]KingKookus17 points18 points19 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
OP went too extreme. Marital rape was legal until the 60s or 70s. Go with that example next time. I’d love to see someone defend their grandfathers right to rape the grandmother because she agreed to that in their marriage.
[–]whyserenity4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Still too esoteric. How about women are raped daily is Muslim dominant countries and no one cares?
[–]KingKookus4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Unless they are Muslim you aren’t challenging their beliefs.

Women signed an agreement when they were married that they would have and hold their husbands. That means regular sex which these women are failing to give their husbands.

I'd say a good 70% of my friends that are going down the marriage road are ending up on this path. Everytime I meet up with them it's a slow progression into what you described becoming a shell of their former selves. Some of them give me shit for being single, but I just sit back and laugh and enjoy my freedom and happiness.
[–]Kotaro-Atani2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I totally agree with this, I have seen it first hand..
[–]Ody_ssey75 points76 points77 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
It has everything to do with gender. Family court doesn't grant half of wife's property to husband if husband is not working and property is in wife's name.
[–]whyserenity15 points16 points17 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It does happen but it is not common.
[–]MuchIndependence5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Some days, when it's really quiet, if you listen carefully you can hear the shrieking of a woman three states over whom it happened to.
The men just furnish a van to live in and suffer in silence.
[–]HodgkinsNymphona2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Either way it only happens to property gained after the marriage.
[–]rykotxet39 points40 points41 points 6 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
You know beforehand the high risk and low profit of that contract, so just don't get married. Make marriage obsolete and divorce unnecessary. That's the only way you can change things.
[–]MyOwnWay198526 points27 points28 points 6 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
To be honest, I don't think alot of men realize it. Not only that, I think when a lot of couples get married they don't have anything, or barely have anything. What are you going to sign a prenup for when you don't have shit to begin with? It's hard to see the forest for the trees.
I don't blame men for wanting to get married. I blame society for making it such an awful deal for them.
[–]2016RubiconTN22 points23 points24 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
This above 👍. Men aren’t given any information about what can happen to them after being married and building a life with kids, wife home etc. it should be a requirement to get some legal based training as to what will happen when your wife decides she doesn’t want to be married any longer. And also the inverse how the guys doesn’t get jack if it’s the other way round. This needs to be required training. I make sure to tell all young men this.

If I knew this about Marriage (how Dangerous it is and how much I could loose) 20 yrs ago, I would have never gotten married.
Guys didn't know about the Red pill and Female Nature in 1998 / 1999, and YouTube didn't come out until 2005. I always equate the Memory of the Red Shoe Diaries movie in 1992 with David Duchovny with trying to figure out Female nature. He always questioned why his Fianc'ee did what she did,
( "Dear Red Shoes..." He first took out the ad after the suicide of his fiancée, and his subsequent confrontation of the man with whom she was having an affair, a construction worker and shoe salesman who sold her a pair of red high heels, inspiring the ad. He placed the ad in the newspaper in an effort to understand why it happened and learn his fiancée's reasons for killing herself through the stories of women in similar situations. )
After learning about the Red Pill and Female Nature, the Red Shoes Diaries Question, was answered for me.

The odd thing about men getting married is that marriage doesn't merely introduce a significant risk of loss of assets. If that were the only factor, and men stood to receive a suitable reward for assuming that risk, I could understand that decision.
But there is no justifiable reason for men to get married. Men can have everything outside of marriage.
Sex?
Companionship?
Kids?
Marriage is not required for any of these things.
In the past, marriage was useful for asset distribution following death. But setting up a variety of trusts can now handle that issue without problems.
It's odd that so many men get married these days. But maybe that's just evidence of the power of indoctrination and brainwashing.
[–]where_muh_good_mens6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Women push for marriage to secure the man's resources. The man goes along with it because she is very good at persuading him with sexual incentives and other feminine ways. The man lets his guard down, sees most of his peers doing the same thing, and ignores any red flags she has. It's that simple and benign.

And it's not about the way the law reads because yes, the law is gender neutral. It's the way the law is enforced, and that is where the extreme bias comes in. Getting a lawyer for a lot of men has proven ineffective as well. This is why MGTOW is the only choice for men. The law will never be changed, but the enforcement in family and divorce court will continue to screw men over.
The child support corruption through the state and federal systems encourages fraud against men. It will never change.
MGTOW is a recognition of reality, seeing the world for what it is rather than what we think it should be, and then taking pragmatic steps to mitigate the glaring risks that society poses. A lot of what can go completely wrong for men happens in divorce court and family court, which is why marriage is no longer a logical choice for men.
Just don't do it, gents. MGTOW is the only choice for many, many more generations of men, perhaps forever.
[–]o0_rambler_0o[S] 5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Very well said and geeat point about the distinction between what the law says and how it's actually enforced. 👏👏👏
[–]UrOffensive-Mog9 points10 points11 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
“It’s the law” defence is so fucking stupid. Especially when arguing on grounds of morality. Just goes to show some people are conditioned to think morality is whatever their governments tell them
Thomas Jefferson on unjust laws,
"If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so."
[–]CastandRefused8 points9 points10 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Women won't ever understand because they aren't the ones paying. Everyone knows that in the rare cases when women do have to pay then all of sudden they start complaining, and where are these women defending men when it happens to them? These same women will have their hands in men's pockets every opportunity they get.
[–]Beanlips7 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
All alimony or child support should be given to the children and put into a savings account for when they turn 18, that seems more acceptable or no alimony payouts to begin with.
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Alimony isn't for the children, that is actually for the wife. That should just be abolished and gone forever more. If a marriage dissolves, then both parties should be free of any obligations from that marriage. If a man has to pay a woman alimony, then the woman should have to come over and fuck him every week, clean the house, cook dinner, etc. Blows my mind that someone is obligated to keep paying another person to live "in the manner to which they've become accustomed" and that person doesn't have to do a thing in return.
Child support is for food, clothes, education, etc. I agree it'd be good to put it in a savings account, but some people genuinely do need the money. Others have great holidays and buy shoes, purses, clothes, even cars, etc with the money. IMO the child support money should go into a bank account and the only withdrawals that can be made from that account are at supermarkets, for education expenses, kids clothes, etc. It could all be done electronically, and it wouldn't even be that hard. It'll never happen though.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Because it's in our nature to "forgive & forget", like it is in a woman's to do the opposite. So we need posts like these to keep reminding ourselves of the hard truth.

I love doing this. Spearing someone with their own absurd logical fallacies and immoral laziness. Yet they have plenty of energy to defend poor choices.
That look on their face is priceless when they realize you don’t care what they say and won’t be influenced, yet you just destroyed them with their own words.

In this age of relentless hypergamous cheating amongst women such a law wouldnt be such a bad idea. A little less barbaric, but the basic notion of a woman cheating being considered a heinous crime.

If be happy if infidelity makes her ineligible to claim half the marital assets.
If a Women Cheats on her Husband in GA (Georgia) USA, and then gets Divorced, she is not Eligible for Alimony. The same thing for the Man, but men rarely get Alimony.
Of course you still lose half your stuff and would have to pay child support if the Child is under the age of 18.
At the age of 18, child support stops, even if the 18 yr old is in college or has special needs.

The woman doesn’t get half of the man’s stuff or vice versa.
Each person comes into a marriage with their own stuff.
Then, once married, anything either spouse gets (with some exceptions) becomes marital assets, not the asset of either spouse.
When divorce happens, each spouse gets the stuff they brought into the marriage. Then, each spouse gets half of the marital assets.
So, if each spouse equally contributed 100k throughout the marriage to pay off a 200k house, they would each be entitled to 100k. Or, if one spouse contributed 200k and the other contributed 0, they still each get 100k.
Community property laws aren’t designed to fuck men over. They’re gender neutral. The fact that they DO fuck over men so often shows that women very rarely contribute as much or men do financially.
Think about it for a second. The only reason men lose out in divorces so often is that men are so often the spouse that contributes more resources to the marriage. So often, in fact, that it’s common wisdom that “women get half of your shit” in a divorce.
I’ve got an acquaintance who made substantially less than his wife did throughout the marriage. HE made out like a bandit when they divorced and she couldn’t believe she owed him money since she was the breadwinner.
So, the easy way not to get divorce raped is of course not to get married. Or, if you can, marry a woman who makes more than you do and then you can divorce-rape her!
If there is one thing that women do better than men, it’s to take financial means into consideration of a future spouse; if men refused to marry women who weren’t “economically attractive,” men wouldn’t get divorce raped.
Yeah, men would still likely get fucked on child custody and on child support, but that’s a whole different kettle of fish.
[–]Kotaro-Atani1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
But the problem is 99% of women Marry up, not down and never bring anything to the table. So most of the Marital assets, if not all, came from the man.
How many times have we heard, the Husband just paid off his wife's school loans and then soon after she divorces him. That's just ridiculous, that's why after I paid off my school loan, I would not pay off my ex's. I told her, better get a job and pay for it. When I got Divorced, I told her that's your debt, im not paying it, and it was not put on me to pay it during the Divorce.
[–]o0_rambler_0o[S] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
True, that's the root of the issue. All women care about in a future spouse is whether or not he can make that money. Guys on the other hand aren't gold digger oriented.
