I just got my drysuit back from repair so I'm a diver again.

For most of my life I was moving and traveling and because of that my only hobbies back then were "mobile".. (besides traveling) like reading books and playing games.

Now that I decided to settle.. I can finally have a hobby that requires a "space".. So I started with reading books and watching tons of YouTube and purchased my first tools. Now I have a good set of power tools, built a dozen different pieces of furniture (started with an actual workbench for woodworking, lol) and starting to think about more professional "bulky" tools like table saw. Lately I got interested with rifles and target shooting.

I can also add that owning a house is a never ending stream of things you need to do and learn how to in the process.

Thanks for the good quality post. I'm getting sick of this sub turning into "wymen are evilz" whining fest.

What hobbies I'm working on right now:

Music Production/Composition - I've been thinking of adding red-pill truths to my next album with lyrics.
Creating IoT and technology solutions - for lower income businesses Like unifying a restaurant's customer's purchases onto one big hub (ie the cooks see what to cook on their screen and all purchases are encrypted into a SAN/NAS)
Social/debate skills - learning these from fellow MGTOW-gents putting on the "They Live" sunglasses on me and testing women's responses. It's more for self-defense but none-the-less important to identify.
Exercising for plyometrics and endurance - just bought a 12kg kettlebell to further my training.

What I want to get into:

3D animation/CAD modeling My first and summer project on this is with the Fictiv Open Source Motorcycle
Gaming - I've picked up Terraria but eventually will want to make my rack computer a server for my friends and/or fellow hobby people. I've missed the good ol' days.
Photography - Amongst all my other hobbies I'm surprised at the lack of peers who don't do photography. So for that reason alone it benefits everyone to look good (whether they need it for their blogs or social media)

Painting Art history Art criticism

Back in college painting became an obsession. No matter what I'm doing I'm almost always thinking of the world around me in terms of what colors mix to represent this object? how do shapes fit together? Is this color warm? Or cool? Naturally that transitioned into a fascination with all art, it's history and it's prevailing theories. It has made my life rich in ways I never imagined as a teenager who only played video games.

The last one isnt really a "hobby" so much as an interest, genuinely love me some coldwar documentaries or anything around that (e.g military equipment and policies), from tank museums to reading about the mathematical strategy of mutually assured destruction.

I am also interested in SJW and the batshittery we see on college campuses and politics and this just facinates me and obviously introduced me into MGTOW

motorcycle ( new MT09 ordered, drew countless stares of shackled cucks onto me when I did. they were there with their wives mostly looking at used 1500€-2000€ bikes thinking "wtf that dude is half my age" ) , shooting guns and bows, reading non fiction books that increase my knowledge and improve my life, cooking/eating healthy, travelling to locations like Asia, South America.

Yes and I was hopeful but disappointed.

The way I learn is to play about 15-30 seconds of a riff over and over. Rocksmith is playing the whole 3-4 minute song straight through. It is a great supplement, especially if you are into pop classic rock. I don't learn and progress as fast the Rocksmith way.

I also felt a tiny delay between my guitar and the PS4. I like an amp much better.

I also enjoy looking or and watching shows that everyone else hates. One prime example is Mr Pickles. Granted, its not for the faint of heart but something about it just makes me laugh. And the opening theme is brutal.

BJJ, Judo, Muay Thai, Combat Sambo, etc. - a combat sport with constant full contact sparring. You will suck for a good long while, but you will get better if you stick with it.

If you're into engines, find a local, amateur racing team and join up.

Buy a gun, learn how to shoot it. Study CQB and small unit tactics.

The point is not "hobbies" but pursuits that will last a lifetime. Find something, and stick with it for the long run.

Any kind of exercise is worth doing. Makes you feel good mentally and physically. Even putting on headphones and going out for a walk.

Just got free but I like Photography , hiking, reading (mainly SciFi, fantasy but also a lot of science books), shooting pistols. Would like to learn some survival skills, grow a garden, get better at cooking. (Been doing sous-vide lately - tasty) Want to travel, especially want to check out Panama as a potential place to live.
