Slightly left of classical liberal. Govt should protect your individual rights, handle infrastructure and emergency services, and enforce safety regulations (food, buildings, etc.). There should be a minimal safety net for people who really need it (e.g. the homeless) in the form of food, temporary housing and emergency care. No victimless crimes, minimal taxes, and no welfare if you decide to have kids while receiving govt assistance of any kind. The rest can be handled by the free market.

I tend to lean conservatively, and am often mistaken for a Republican. However, I have only voted once, for the Donald. I only voted then because he was pissing off both parties and saying things that i was certain was no longer allowed to be said.

As others have pointed out in the answers, both sides serve interests that have nothing to do with protecting joe citizen. All of their bickering is little more than hot air much like WWE, and really much of their policies are alike. They are both steering us into becoming like the third world countries whose inhabitants flock here. The joke will ultimately be on them though when within one to two generations tops here resembles where they tried to escape from.

Lean left/libertarian. Historically mixed voting but usually Democrats (cringe). The two major parties don’t really represent me, and the third party guys tend to be non-serious. I support legal drugs, ending the wars, and cutting spending.

Left-libertarian. I support ending the wars, keeping the government out of people's personal lives, legalizing and decriminalizing marijuana, support for voting rights and expanding ways of voting (with greater responsibilities and regulations that come with those). On welfare, I used to be all for it, but now it needs to come with more stipulations. Too many people are abusing the hell out of it (especially single-mothers).

I'm a capitalist. So I guess that automatically makes me an alt-right racist skinhead with nazi tendencies that wants to murder anyone not blond haired and blue eyed.

Politically speaking, however, I usually try to find the most common sense thing. Invariably, that gets me labeled "right wing."

I despise without any chance of compromise the left and their sjw, victim olympics, identity politics, marxist bullshit.

I recognize the need for taxes. I recognize the need for a military.

I think taxes should go to non-specialized purposes (ie. no planned parenthood, no special interests) such as schools and infrastructure (roads, connectivity (power grids and quality internet should be available all throughout the nation etc)). I'm not one of these idiots who think we don't need a military, but I would also like to call all of our troops home and don't think we've been in a "good" war in my lifetime.

I want power given back to the states to operate how they choose. Social issues are state or even county issues and not federal issues.

I want minimal government, period. I want to see the resurrection of personal responsibility.

I have no leaning, I hate everyone equally. The tories and labour in the UK are both disgusting. Politicians here gave themselves a 10% pay rise meanwhile the rest of us barely got 1%. They can also claim expenses anywhere from biscuits, to erasers and all the way to unlimited amount of expensive meals and toys. They get to claim on second homes and most choose to give the second homes to their relatives so they dont pay mortgages. Some politicians claimed expenses for a duck moat for their pet ducks costing us thousands of ££.

They are all a pack of hyenas and vultures. Disgusting the lot of them. The funniest thing is they managed to convince the whole country that the big enemy is immigrants and we are all eating up this shit whilst they lube up behind us ready to penetrate. The greatest trick the devil ever played......

Doing away with a lot of zoning regulations so that more people can work from home, reduce commuting and energy needs.

Individual anarchy restrained through good home school education.

I personally prefer those who are right to those who are left.

Well, bad wordplays aside, I reserve the right to not choose permanently one side because I never know when this side might be wrong. Right now, I tend more towards conservatism but only because I think the liberals got too carried away.

I would love to be on a middle where everything is just right but reality is not a wishing well.

I'm a leftie - Old Left, you may say (think early labor activists and New Dealers). I support unions and strong social safety net (hey, individual responsibility is cool and all that, but why should I pay for owners'/corporate fuckups?). The Left's betrayal of the workers in favour of miniscule minorities/shrieking blue-haired slacktivists was its grave mistake.
