I've been feeling this for a few years now. It's just reaching a boiling point now.

I get calls from old female coworkers or girls I haven't talked to in years sometimes, or I see them at the store and I can hear that sad desperation in their voice. They always want to stop by my house or they try to act like they're interested in me all of a sudden.

Sorry but I'm not seeing this. Quite the opposite. I observe when out in public and it's quite clear any girl that wants a man can get one. I constantly see nasty women of all types with a man in tow. Attractive women are still bouncing from bed to bed all they want. I don't see anything really having any effect on women.

Yup, and there are layers to what is happening.

In the background is the realization that we are living in what is likely the twilight of the American Empire. Rome went from a population of a million at its peak to a population of 50k when it was finally sacked. Citizens were crushed by taxes and simply abandoned the capitol. Sound familiar? Covid catalyzed a similar movement. Why would beta billy the engineer or beta timmy the accountant deal with big city taxes and hassle when with remote work all he needs is a hotspot and a chromebook? Women sense that this massive shift is happening and it makes them nervous because it means the mate-finding rules are changing.

In the foreground is the entirely reasonable and rational reaction to the insane ramp-up of MeToo and 'diversity equity and inclusion' laws that are meant to handicap all men, but white men especially. If any interaction with any woman can be reframed by that woman at will as 'abusive' then the rational response is minimize all interactions with all women.

So you have men avoiding dealing with women at the micro level because it is all risk and no reward, and avoiding commitment at the macro level since the future is so uncertain and difficult to plan for.

The number of men tapping out of the dating scene is sadly lesser than the men coming into the dating scene. I'm in my 40s too and what I observe is that the doing-good-in-career men in their late 20s and early 30s still dream of having a family. I've even seen mgtow men secretly craving for a women's company. (no offense intended against mgtow men, I'm a mgtow too)

The core of the problem lies that media and society still glorifies female virtues at the expense of male virtues. So even if the men who realize deep down that something is wrong with women, turn a blind eye and point finger on themselves blaming that you're not good enough, the problem lies in you.

Multiple divorces later, they think that "ah, filthy western women. Let's go to Ukraine or Philippines, retire in Thailand, and get a wife and build a family", only to realize that the same bullshit exists everywhere.

Once men overcome the feeling of being left alone in their old age and start to realize that women, the world over, takes men as *enablers* of their hypergamist agenda, more and more men will tap out from the dating scene.

But unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working now. Young men entering in the dating scene are like entering a war with sickle and hammer against women with bullets. They come out with their limbs gone and they again enter, in a different war-zone (southeast asia, south america, eastern europe) with a *HOPE* that things will be different.

But as Nietzsche said "hope prolongs human suffering".

You know how they say the middle class has been getting fucked the most? I'd say the same has happened with men in regards to dating. I'm like a male 6-7. 6'4", have my hair, good money, decent face, but I'm a little skinny fat and Im a bit too vanilla even though I have trucks and motorcycles. I'm the guy that would tell you you better wear boots while riding because those laces are going to get caught and if you crash you're going to sand away half your foot. That kind of smart but boring guy.

I used to do ok with girls. I'd get some easy hookups with 6s and could talk my way into relationships with 7s and maybe even an 8 once. That was up til the first 2 years of tinder (2015).

Now??? I simply can not get a hookup at all, and I can barely get cute girls to go out with me. Most of my single friends are basically incel outside of dropping their stands to 5s or below. So only men willing to take shit jobs/women, or men able to get great jobs/women are surviving. The middle is dead.

I might be in the minority here, but my primary reason for being mgtow is after having been divorce raped, I can't afford to have half my stuff confiscated again, and still retire. Being that the courts have decided to start throwing out prenups, there's no safe way to pair up anymore.

I still really like women. I'd love to be in a relationship with someone non-toxic, and I'd even give her kids if she wanted. But I can't, because in the event of her cheating or a dead bedroom, I don't want it to cost me everything.

So, thanks court system. You've made it better to be alone.

You are correct, and I’ve definitely felt this and noticed this too, as a very analytical and critically-thinking empath. I see guys as basically completely hopeless, exhausted, and jaded from trying.

I also notice that many women have realized they have severely overplayed their hands over the years, to where guys aren’t even trying anymore.

When I’m out and about, what I see is absolutely no one interacts unless they absolutely have to, and it’s just quick and emotionless. A cashier, a bank teller, a drive-thru.

Bam...get what you need, and gone. There is no “harmless flirting” as there used to be. Why? Because women killed that off.

I've got a lot of people I knew from high school on my normie Facebook. Several of them turned out more or less the way you'd expect. But a few of the women are utter train wrecks.

My personal favorite is a 4 a few years older than me. She divorced her husband a few years back. Reading between the lines, I think she was expecting to ride the carousel for a while and then monkey branch to some guy with all the sixes: pack, feet, figures.

Needless to say, it didn't exactly work out that way for her. She's over thirty now, she's a 4 (maybe a 3, idk), her son looks like a mutant and she probably weighs somewhere near 250 lbs now. No sane man wants anything to do with her. The simp who would accept her won't be invented for at least fifty more years.

She's lonely, broke, fat, ugly and divorced. Her husband wants nothing to do with her now, basically nobody swipes right for her on Tinder and she regularly posts angry shit about how all she needs is just one good man (who is six feet tall with millions in his bank account).

I'm a mean, spiteful, coldhearted son of a bitch so posts like that are nectar for me. I comment with stuff like "You're having a bad run rn, we're in the middle of a lockdown and most people are scared, just hang in there, I know you'll meet the perfect man!"

As others have said I see the opposite. When out and about I see average looking women (or worse) with good or very good looking men. I still never really see the reverse of a good looking woman "dating down."

As we all know women would rather die alone and unloved than date down even a little bit.
