Depends, if you dig into aging hipsters (primarily what I dated in youth), they are fine to settle for an oofy doofy guy at 31-35. Travel, craft beer outings, building a life together, etc. Both fat and smiling on Instagram in front of a bar in Portland. If you look more into mainstream chicks (the kind who dated Jock chad in youth), then yeah, you will find your cat ladies. Depends on what kind of ego they have. My personal opinion is that single motherhood without a male role model has a strong influence on that. Another huge one is media, mostly movies and TV shows where actors act immaturely and make irrational emotional decisions to increase drama. Take captain Kirk lashing out emotionally on Khan in the new Star Trek movies. Or the emotional drama in The Last Jedi. It teaches kids that a conflict should be dealt with by an emotional outburts rather that calm rational discussion.

i'm against most forms of both, and i don't think it's either.
it's the late stages of participation award culture, where everyone gets to be a winner, and no one loses or is a failure.
that encompasses many things, but one big one is that the cap on government backing of university loans was slowly and eventually removed. when i went to undergrad, the federal reimbursement to a lender on a student loan default was practically nothing. so if you wanted to get a degree in underwater feminist ribbon therapy, you couldn't unless your family was loaded, and the bulk of those people were very unlikely to allow their kids to get such stupid degrees. as the federal reimbursement cap was raised and eventually removed, lenders didn't have to care about subprime degrees, so everyone was now allowed to go to college and get a useless subprime participation award degree. and since it's not an actual course load, all they do is teach a religious sort of marxism and maosim. they'll claim they're educated when they've been indoctrinated to screech emotionally and violently at all the things that don't jive with their religion.

While I know anecdotes aren't data, I have talked to a lot of damn women. They seem to be pretty fucking honest about a lot of slutty gross shit. And for some reason, bkowjobs are a lot more popular than full blown sex. Hell, I even lost my virginity to a 15 year old when I was 17. But we dated and cared about each other. Unless the last girl I dated was more honest about doing ass to mouth than she was about when she lost her virginity, I still think it's closer to 16-17 with less than 4 partners when they enter college.
