I can tell you exactly why he stopped trying. It's because she stopped trying. Men will give 100% to a woman that makes him feel like she's worth it. 100% of his time, energy, money, etc. He's playing video games and farting and not giving a fuck because he lost interest in her because she's repressed his urge to be a provider. She stopped making him feel good. She stopped asking him questions about his life/interests/hobbies. She stopped wearing makeup and dressing up nice (not even sexy; just something better than sweatpants or a mumu) for him. Only for girls night out. They stopped having meaningful conversations, and not because he stopped trying to have them. Conversations only arise about money, kids, buying a house, their "future". She stopped making sex spontaneous and fun. She likely scheduled it and turned it into a chore that he gets to complete once a month before this turn of events.

I'm not talking out of my ass. I'm talking from many failed relationships with women. Once the honeymoon phase ends they stop fucking trying. You no longer are an excitement, and its assumed you'll continue to be their ATM/daddy who's constantly there to be an emotional support and bend over to her every demand.

It goes from "good morning, honey. how did you sleep?" to "i need you to pay for this," or "you need to do this today" before you even get a change to get your cup of coffee.

I can never fathom just how lazy women are, even though i repeatedly see this in my life. "Do the laundry"- literally just tossing clothes and cleaning detergent in a machine then hanging said close to dry (about 10 minutes of "work" at most),"Dishwasher emptied"-that means the lazy cunt doesn't even was he own dishes but instead has a machine to do it and is still complaining that she has maintain it(i don't own a dishwasher since i don't own a wife but its safe to assume that it takes less time to empty it than it does to clean dishes manually, which is only a few minutes),"food made when he wants"-unless he's asking for some world class food from you (which i know he isn't most guys just want something that doesn't taste like shit) thats about an hour to an hour and a half tops.
