I'm 14 years older than you and can tell you its fucked at this age too, everyone I know is divorced and with one kid. It's all gone to shit. One guy killed himself, I live in another country, ex took my daughter back to her country, the rest of my friends are stuck back where I'm from in an endless rut of slaving away being single fathers/child support workers while their ex's tree branched to men with more money. Well I was there once at your age and had friends like this on what was then MySpace. Fast forward now and I am the last man standing. Single still. The rest have gone through horrible marriages and divorces or they’re basically what I call “walking dead” meaning they’re married with kids. I hope the boys you know are wise and keep out of marriage. It’s getting to really be a very bad option as we go forward. These women these days are getting more unrealistic on their expectations. I lived in a house with 9 other guys at university. We're all 30 now and so far not one of us has gone down.

One has a kid and two have LTR. The rest of us are single. We're all young, healthy, employed, and average or above average SMV.

In my hometown it's the same story. I know guys who have kids with women they're not in a relationship with but not one marriage. You'd think there would be some because my hometown is where you can meet people who never went anywhere after high school but nope, still just working and playing video games and doing nothing with their lives.

30 is still young I guess for a man to get married in 2018. I'll be interested to see where all these men are in another 10 years. I imagine I'll one of the few still single.

This is just my view. I think most people get married because they have nothing better to look for; zero ambition. They think, finding that unicorn is all the purpose they need. Frankly, I can't blame them. But it's sad that they get into marriage with an illusion that other person loves and respect them for who they are, which we know to be bs.

If you have ambition and chasing some goal you'll laugh at the marriage proposition. As one redditor said it's the only contract where you can be 100% awesome and she can take everything from you. Fuck that.

Marriage is returning to it's roots: A contractual obligation to procure mutual tangible benefits. Conservatives always said they wanted a return to traditional marriage. It don't get more "traditional" than that.

I do know some guys my age who already have chained themselves to some girly girls. One of them, a former close friend, had his first child 4 years ago and now already has four. A close friend of mine has a small boy but has already broken up with the mom. All I see is sap behavior after sap behavior but it seems guys just won’t learn. In my circle I have 10 really good friends.

Of those friends, 5 married and of those 5, 3 divorced.

The other 5 have never married, are in their late thirty's and are pulling early/mid 20 something females.

Those of us that are not married have no reason to. We have the same amount of sex as our married friends (after the honeymoon phase).

Their wives get fatter because the "race is over" and they no longer have to impress their man.

Meanwhile my friends and I are sleeping with in-shape women because their race is still on. What's better is the "I don't need a man attitude."

That is fine by me! I do not want to get married and some beta cuck will marry the girls we nail after she has been used up like a teenage boy's sock.
