i have this pre wall thot coworker who shoots as a hobby, she uses it to lure men into her fangs, but recently she's bern complaining that most men are feminist soy boys and hate fire arms and try to make her stop ( which is funny ) tldr she can't even get her legs in the proper stance.Cant aim. Can't listen to advice.Gets tons of free ammo.
[–]Safe_Dentist22 points23 points24 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Hoe: I wanna shoot, give me the ammo.
Friendzoned cuck: Sure, here it is.
year passed, no sex...
Friendzoned cuck: I'm feminist, I hate firearms, could you please stop?

Gets tons of free ammo
A chick with any hobby is so overvalued if they're willing to play the game.
Value is already sky high just by not being obese and existing, so adding on doing something puts them in God tier.

The more betas the worse it will be. Video games, especially mmorpgs are flooded with incels, young boys, virgins, so it is bound to happen.
Chicks willing to play with guns and motorcycles can also make easy bank/attention.

It's only sky-high next to people that has no value. I.E. most men.
Put her in a group of 40 year old medics. Suddenly she doesn't have so much value, see?
[–]lottalogs2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You're looking at her value to them. I'm referring to the highest bid in the open market. Only one offer has to be high for value to be high. I guess we should say price rather than value.
The value of a car isn't determined by me and my frugal friends. It's the idiots financing at 100% their yearly income.
Surely you see the nuance here.

I was just thinking this, She gonna have a black eye, right quick.. or Permanent Blindness..
I guess that's why it says "Do you wanna be a Pirate?"
She will just go to the cops and say the man did it..

I haven't used guns often, particular ones with scopes. So what is the proper way to look through the sight? I'm guessing you have to be looking for a fair amount further away, as well as probably not holding the weapon like that.
[–]RealBiggly35 points36 points37 points 6 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
The shoulder stock is supposed to be pressed into the hollow of the shoulder, to absorb the recoil. Firing it the way she is holding it means there is nothing stopping the gun from kicking backwards, other than her eyeball....
PS: regarding the correct way, scopes have a 'relief' distance of about 1.5 inches. There's never any need to put your eye that close.
[–]ParalyticPoison14 points15 points16 points 6 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Thanks for the info, I suppose most of this probably comes naturally when actually using the weapon a few times (hopefully not completely wrong the first time). Just like the image of the girl "soldering" it just goes to show that women have no fucking clue how to use devices they are given. Can't tell them the proper way though, that would be "mansplaining".
[–]RealBiggly6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Actually, around 20 years ago, I took a girl hunting. It was just a little .22 rifle and I let her lay prone. I figured anyone, absolutely anyone, could hit a tin can at 20 yards, laying prone with a scoped rifle, right?
Did the same thing, gave herself a black eye. And that was a low-powered rifle and the scope had a rubber eyepiece. The military rifle in the photo would be a whole different result.
[–]LifeAndReality858 points9 points10 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
A fucking 22. That’s like 1 step above a BB gun!
This gun is obviously a much larger caliber. It would totally blind her. I don’t know what gun she is holding, but having the scope that close to the eye with ANY recoil at all would certainly blind her.
Are there any after photos of how this worked out for her?
[–]Pyro1119210 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is obviously just a photo shoot style sort of thing, no way she actually fired that. It's just taking a picture for the sake of showing off.
[–]crushedpelvis 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
.22 have no recoil....
[–]WaywardStag0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
There's no way a 22 will smack you, unless you panic from the bang and pull the gun into your own face.
[–]RealBiggly0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Perhaps I should mention it was the UK and the .22 was a Theoben Sirocco...
(gas ram)
[–]AlbertCohol0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It shouldn’t be hard to figure that one out if you have ever even once seen anyone use a rifle.
[–]WaywardStag1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
scopes have a 'relief' distance of about 1.5 inches
Double that. Most scopes are between 3 and 4 inches.
[–]RealBiggly-1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I'm used to high-powered scopes for small game (squirrels etc) and the higher the magnification the shorter the relief tends to be. In fact my zoom scopes would require you to move forward quite a lot at higher power levels.
3.5 inches would be a classic old-timey 4x32 or something.
Wiki says:
"For a shooter, eye relief is also a safety consideration. If the eye relief of a telescopic sight is too short, leaving the eye close to the sight, the firearm's recoil can force the optic's eyepiece to hit and cut into the skin around the shooter's eye, leaving a curved scarring laceration on the medial end of the supraorbital ridge and the eyebrow. This is frequently called a "scope bite", or the "idiot cut", due to the obvious and long-lasting nature of such a mistake. Typical eye relief distances for telescopic sights are often between one and four inches (25 to 100 mm), as opposed to the much shorter 15 to 17 mm for typical binoculars."
So we're both right :)
[–]WaywardStag-2 points-1 points0 points 6 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
I'd like to see a scope with a one inch eye relief... There's no reference to that stat on the wiki page, I think someone just made it up. One inch isn't safe.
" The industry average for a fixed-power scope is about 3 1/2 inches. For most variables, you’ll start out about there at the lower power, and about 2 1/2 inches when you crank up to to max magnifcation. " https://www.buckmasters.com/Magazines/GunHunter/Articles/ID/167/This-Thing-Called-Eye-Relief
"Some of the shortest eye relief distances are 1.5 inches, but you will need practiced skill to use these." https://riflescopescenter.com/long-eye-vs-short-eye-relief/
Not really mate. You said "scopes have an eye relief of about 1.5 inches" which is not true, the eye relief of scopes vary, but the vast majority have an eye relief of double that like I pointed out.
Well if you want to be a dick about it, sure.
And your own article clearly states exactly what I said, that small game rifles tend to have high power scopes and high power scopes have shorter eye-relief, but hey, I guess you feel proud of yourself now, or something.
[–]liberules15 points16 points17 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
yeah, not having the butt (end piece of the rifle's stock) against your shoulder is wrong. some people hold it too far down the arm so it's actually pressing against the upper arm rather than shoulder. the recoil will leave some heavy bruising if you do that. she's gone the other direction... to save her shoulder from the recoil, she's holding the rifle high enough that her shoulder won't feel any recoil. side effect of this idiocy: when she pulls the trigger the gun is going flying.
another issue is the way she has it right up against her eye. on a scoped rifle, the distance between your eye and the end of the scope is typically 2.5-6 inches. if your face is too close to the scope, the kick of the rifle is going to give you a black eye if you're lucky, and blindness you if you're not.
now let's say hypothetically, maybe she wasn't going to shoot it, give her the trillion percent benefit of the doubt, as if she was looking inside the scope because it was dirty or had some piece rattling. i don't know, don't care, literally any bullshit excuse for her to have the gun not shouldered and the scope practically licking her eyeball. but then she has her finger on the trigger meaning she's intending to fire. there's no excuse.
[–]LifeAndReality855 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Gun newbie mistake #1 is always having a finger on the trigger when you don’t intend to shoot. Which in turn makes way for plenty of accidents.

I wish this was a gory gif.
[–]rocko200026 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm not a shooting or firearms expert, but that looks like a rifle of a relatively big caliber. Someone better correct her posture lest she fires and the recoil will jam that scope up her eye socket.
[–]Denton5174067 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
But who needs eye relief...
[–]NohoTwoPointOh8 points9 points10 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]leering8556 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's it sweetheart now hold that eye in that scope nice and snug....you want to make it an airtight fit... so when you're ready... just pull the trigger
[–]Mr_M0t0m05 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Someone probably attempted to advise her not to do that, but her being a 'strong and independent' wooomun, not taking kindly to being mansplained to, told them off and fired it that way anyway. Most likely now, she is 1 of the most fervent and virulent anti-gun femmes out there after she fired that rifle that way.
