For me the point of GMOW isn't any sort of "told you so", it's to keep myself from being used. As far as any regular person knows, I'm just too busy to date right now.

It isn't buddy. MGTOW only is depressive defeatism to a overly positive frame of reference. The viability of male-female gender relations in a romantic setting is simply dead. The tree fell, some tiny leaves are still sprouting here and there next to the giant rotting hole in the trunk.

No need to actually be depressed by it, civilizations and cultures rise and fall all the time. Ours has fallen, most just didn't get the memo yet.

I think a time will come when a new culture, a new society takes place of the decaying corpse of the current one, I'm just doubtful it will be in our lifetime.

Stay positive though and do your best to thrive in the decay.

There is nothing negative or wrong about what men in this sub are doing. I have said it before, I've been married for almost 30 years. I find none of it offensive.

The idea that people wanting to live how they like is some kind of threat to others is stupid. They are selling something and people that don't want to buy are doing their level best to shut them down.

It's silly.

Edit: Also I am extremely happy with my wife, we are best friends and I doubt that will ever change. But before that I went through "the trauma" and I would have liked to have had help before I ended up getting screwed. Good for you guys.

The key point of MGTOW is that we have taken a positive stop away from something that wasn't working into things that work for us. It always reminds me of the long standing reddit meme of the cat thinking 'I should get a boat'. We are the cat that went out and got a boat.

It won’t fall for mgtow. It may fall around mgtow but as you leave the plantation, go monk, off the grid, etc you protect yourself from much of the fall. The world will shift to where men put their focus and creativity. Popular western culture stifles men’s best attributes. Someone made a post here recently (or comment) about a treehouse. It applies to this fall you foresee.

When I was younger I used to come in hot kinda like you did. Be careful to learn as much as you can before jumping to a conclusion.

You’re man enough to internalize new information, see your mistake, and correct it. Don’t ever stop doing that.

You're not the only one OP. There have been many trolls here I have tagged as "MGTOW troll", who are now regular contributors. They come here with their blue pill outrage, then if they stick around a while and listen to the stories other guys tell and notice how similar they are to own experiences, they get red pilled.

If you know any real natural chads in your circle of friends, you will notice how red pill they are. Unlike what /r/TheRedPill will tell you, I don't think they get laid because they are red pill, they get red pilled because they've had many more annoying vaginas in their lives than most of us, and they eventually get fed up. TRP has it backwards.

Bigger man than most since you can admit you were wrong. Most of the world fails to do that (me included) and thus the shit like what's going on today is rampant. Introspection is the first step in improving yourself and often it's the hardest to do as we naturally want to try and rationalize how our every thought and deed is inherently correct (although usually not).
