The recent post on r/unpopularopinion about society not giving a shit about men resonates with a lot of men these days.

Even though MGTOW (and really, any group in the manosphere) is reviled by the greater public, we all know at this point that most men have heard of it and will often silently agree with what we say here and in other places where the "manosphere" lurks. Men are disposable units. I think it's a testament to that fact that r/mgtow was cracked down by Reddit with this Quarantine. I'm seeing more and more red pills being dropped all over the place and I'm sure many of you have done so yourselves. The fact that the film "Joker" was so successful but reviled by the "approved blue checkmark" critics is a testament to this.

Approved societal norm is this:

Men are expected to:

  • provide, build a nest for wife & kids
  • sacrifice all of their dreams and desires for said family
  • shoulder all the responsibility with no benefits whatsoever
  • ... and the cherry on the cake.
  • be ejectable at anytime, yet still be responsible for all of the above.
  • all this while, you know, it's always men's fault

Society is 100% geared towards you being the sacrificial lamb.

  • Criminal courts are against you
  • Civil and Family courts are against you
  • The constitution doesn't protect you and pays lip service to you
  • The system is completely built around milking you for every penny (ie: lawyers)

You know what, MGTOWs message resonates deeply with guys at one point or another in their lives. I only discovered MGTOW maybe 5 years ago? But I had already gone my own way by then. The best thing to do for men currently is quietly pass the message. Obviously the term MGTOW is now branded by most people who don't think critically the same way "incel" and "MRA" is being bandied about. Because all of these terms go against the social norms. But the message itself is still true. So the only thing I can say to all those who read this, who lurk, is to keep carrying the message. Not by name of course since people will shut down if you do. But keep dropping those red pills.

So keep fighting the good fight. The only way we'll win this is if these red pills start reaching and being applied by people in actual authority. When Judges & lawmakers start to think the same way we do, then things will change. We just need to keep doing what we're doing. Consistency and repetition is how you win a "propaganda war".

In the "Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinksy, one of his rules is to use the enemies' own standards against them. It's very easy to thwart feminists when you apply their own rules against them. I strongly suggest people pick up his book. First it gives you a glance on how the enemy is operating and second, we need to inspire ourselves from it and never be ashamed of our position.

Background: Am in my mid 50s, have gone through a childless divorce in my 30s, lost over 600K$ in the process but at least I didn't have dependants (other than a crazy ex). Took me about 10 years to recover. Currently run my own business, I run an IT Services company in Canada, 10 employees (all men btw), I could retire now if I wanted to but am having too much fun with my boys to stop working yet. Use all the legal methods available for tax avoidance and asset protection (offshoring more than half my money for instance). Company EBIDTA around half a million a year. Not a huge business by any token but big enough to sustain comfortably 10 people not including myself.

It is possible to succeed guys, and make a good life for yourself. Just don't fuck it up by getting married. Trust me. Had I stayed single and just do what I'm doing now, I'd probably have 100 employees and be very very rich. Marriage is a dream killer. Don't do it. Build a life for yourself first, then protect the shit out of your assets and put away as much as you can out of government's reach within legal means. Buy precious metals too. Live a minimalistic life for yourself and live for the doing.

I drive a 10 year old car, I put way around 90% of my earnings these days, I have a small house (1000 square feet), paid off in full, do all my own maintenance and live in a relatively low cost of living area.

I can't say how happy I am these days since I stopped listening to what society wants and only listen to what _I_ want.
