When you are a good earner and make it look easy women quickly begin to think that it is easy. I am in real estate development. At one point my ex wife thought I continue to make in the mid 6 figures working 4 hours a day Monday-Friday if “I got more organized was really focused during those 4 hours.” She was dead serious. In her eyes it was entirely my fault I couldn’t make $600k a year working 20 hours a week. Like it was completely normal to gross $600/hr.

It’s not good enough to just support them at a high level... you have to do it effortlessly and also be extremely engaged with the kids and do half the house work.

This is because our generation forgot that we inherent society and restructure it to our liking beginning with rebelling against the system. We went from good little boys doing our school work as we were told to... doing the same thing as adults. What happened to teenage rebellion, it occurs for a reason, to create a new paradigm. First we rebel against all order with extreme chaos - anarchy. Then we rebuild with our own beliefs, which will incorporate the good order from the previous generations but not include the identified STINKING RATS of the previous generations. What if I told you that the baby boomers made it so miserable for us with the burdens of their generation and the suffocation of our generation so that you would rebel and find the answers to a horribly broken system that broke them. It's not conscious, their unconscious misery weighs on you. They want to see you crushed and die broken. Extreme powerlessness through lack of will to power through order, results in will to power through extreme chaos - "kill my own children."

Man was not meant to work all day to provide for his family. Boys were not meant to be raised by school teachers, women who are not their mothers. Did you know that a woman naturally doesn't want the sons of other mothers to succeed? Mothers are not meant to keep their sons infantilized past age 5. The boy is supposed to be with the men by that age, watching as they "work" competing with other men. In a proper society, communities would raise children. If you were lucky, your father would be in your life and would teach you things to give you an upper hand. In nature, men generally don't even know who their sons are nor care. Women fuck whoever feels right at the time. The children are nurtured until they reach the terrible twos which exists for a reason, it is the beginning of adulthood. The child is removed from the tit after giving his mom so much shit, and he sits on the ground and cries and cries and feels the hunger and abandonment of his mother. The hunger drives him to go to the community food stash and get him something to eat. Traumatic, but essential for development.

Society is a mess.

I moved out with my dad during my parent’s divorce and my little sister stayed with mom. My mom taught her to hate dad and wants nothing to do with him even though my dad was always the one taking her to her games and took the time to practice with her.

I have an opinion on this, what if he like...worked just enough? Im speaking specifically of the fathers who provide abundance? My uncle was a CEO if record company(not a brag just read) he worked his ass off and provided an abundance of resources. This meant he was hardly ever around. He is a very loving man and worked his ass off for everyone, self sacrificing, all that shit. But did he really need to? Like a regular house is no good? Did he HAVE to take us on so many vacations? All the baseball games? Obviously my uncle was well iff but I don’t think he HAD to be. I think he did too much and put his worth in provision the sane way women put their worth in their vaginas. Just a theory. Anyway I think fathers should be more active in their children’s life although our intentions for working so hard are positive. The road to hell is paved with good intentions

The mother is usually responsible for alienating the child from their father, the child doesn't know how hard their dad works to keep the roof over their head, and meanwhile the mom is home comforting the kid who "doesn't really have a dad" instead of explaining to them that their dad really loves them but is working to give us a better life.

The mother usually comes in and becomes the "hero", spending all kinds of time with the kids, and the mother will just embrace it instead of confirming their dad loves them just as much as mom does.

A lot of mother's are responsible for this shit.

My dad is retired, but he’s still the backbone of the house. On the same token, he’s been emotionally unavailable for as long as I can remember (I’m 23). I love him and I say “yes sir” every day, but its nearly impossible to have a conversation without him needing to assert something or make it a lecture. He’s always talking about either politics or the failures of others, and is a pretty bad narcissist in that regard. And when something happens where we laugh together, it feels really fake most of the time. I can go on, but long story short I’m grateful to my dad for providing so much, despite there being no feelings whatsoever.

I have a 54 yo uncle in law. An elite breadwinner, very very hard worker. 3 bed house, 2 cars, 4 kids all grown up with 2 moved out and he put a roof over my sister's head to stop her going into care. He could prob retire comfortably but he continues working as it's all he has ever known and he must have at least 1.5 to 2 mill. Gets home from work and drinks heavily, then gets up and does it all again. But now he is in a loveless marriage. Him and my auntie are fighting all the time over his drinking. So another example of a man being taken for granted and although I don't get on with him I can put myself in his shoes. It must be a heavy burden to have that much responsibility.

work 80 hours a week to pay for everything in third world, sleep 8 hour days to recover from that; 2 hours for eating and bathroom and washing and and all that. Add another hour because let's not pretend your wife will cook for you even if you work like a dog... That gives you 11 hours a week to be there for either your kid or to, more likely; strive to unwind. That would give you an average of an hour and a half every day.

I mean it really depends, there are situations where the father can spend time with his kids but instead chooses to drink or drink and hangout with his buddies , am not saying that the father shouldn’t have fun in his day , am saying that there are 7 days in the week , split them between Caring for your kids and care isn’t only spending money on them , hobbies , hanging out with your friends , etc
